stuff and ballerina girls

This is the big piece that is up at Nucleus right now. I think the original image is 12x12 inches.

Her hair is on fire, she doesn't seem to notice or care. I don't know why it's on fire. Oh well, maybe the water butterflies will put it out. No, I don't do drugs, but I probably should.

Wow! That unicorn piece sure fun to look at. My eyes keep spinning around it and I see something new each time. Is a piece like that pretty spontaneous or do you do a lot of preplanning?

gorgous as always. I love that your work has this free spirited flow to it. Like it hasnt a care in the world, and at the same time its so precise in its execution.

okay now that I've gone all art geek... I bet your piece was a hit at the show. I would have died to go (although it'd be hard to go if I was dead). Always a pleasure to see new art from you.

Thanks!
Brandon- I did a sketch, then transferred to poster board with me light table. When I sketch I don't usually plan, but for big pieces I usually do 'cause it's too much of a hassle to drive to the art store every poster board I mess up.
Mindy- Don't eat the face paint. It's made of soap. Unless you want to burp bubbles.
Burgerlog- Where do I find this "crack"? Should I call a plumber?

I love the unicorn pic! It's so organic it's like the unicorns are melting into each other and then reemerging! They look almost like they are part sea creature! And I love love the little Unico you tossed in there!
